To register or view upcoming activities, please click the View Activities button! View and select the activity you would like to register for.

How do I request picnic areas or fields?

Reservations

Requests must be made at least 4 business days in advance. Please be patient and refrain from calling our office after sending an email. All requests will be processed in the order received.Important info for Picnic, Field and Facility Rentals / Reservations:The Recreation Department starts accepting Picnic and Field Reservations on March 1st.Grass Fields normally open April 15th and Picnic areas normally open May 1st (weather permitting.)If you would like to make a reservation please follow these steps:1) Please check the reservation calendars to make sure the date and time you are interested in is available. If available, proceed by sending an email to: recreation@parsippany.net. Please include all of the following information:2) Full Name of the applicant3) Company name (if applicable)4) Full Address5) Phone #6) Reason for rental - be as detailed as possible so we can accurately quote a fee.7) The number of people expected to attendParsippany now requires all businesses to be registered with the State of NJ and requires that a “NJ Business Registration Certificate” be submitted with all requests made on behalf of a business of any type. NJ Business Registration Certificate registration information can be found here -> https://www.nj.gov/treasury/revenue/busregcert.shtmlIf you are reaching out to us for a cancellation please make sure it is at least 2 weeks in advance. There are no refunds for cancellations made within 2 weeks of the permit event date.The Parsippany Recreation office is open from 8am-5pm M-F.
